Beemer fans around the world will be excited with the launch of BMW's in-house performance parts range because it means not only will they have more options when it comes to individualising their pride and joy but also because it will challenge the likes of BMW aftermarket tuners such as AC Schnitzer and Hartge to lift their games as well - surely a little competition can't hurt, right?

You could say that specialist BMW tuner Hartge has already responded to this 'challenge' by releasing a new accessory line-up for both the 1-Series coupe and cabrio models. All you need to do is supply your own BMW 1-series and Hartge will take care of things from there with accessories that include a fully adjustable and tuned sports suspension, exclusive wheels from 8.5×18″ to 9×19″ sizes, and carbon-fibre bits and pieces for the exterior (side mirrors) and interior.
The interior gets a generous sprinkling of carbon fibre inserts, leather accents, a choice of two sporty steering wheels (one with carbon fibre) and Hartge polished aluminium race pedals.
