VIDEO: Cadillac CTS-V
June 18th 2008 11:15
There was a time when American muscle cars could only go fast in a straight-line but that isn't the case anymore with cars such as the Corvette ZR1 and Z06 proving that they can attack the twisties with equal amounts of prowess as they can tear up a drag-strip.
The upcoming Cadillac CTS-V high-performance sedan lends further credibility to these theories as it is put through its paces around the Milford racetrack in the US.
With power and torque rated at 415 kW and 747 Nm respectively, we already know the Cadillac CTS-V is a very capable piece of machinery in a straight-line (0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds; quarter-mile in 12 seconds) but in this video, we can see it attack corners with equally alarming speeds.
The Germans should be worried. Very worried.
