Limited Edition Audi R8 GT

Audi has sent the head-turning R8 on a special diet and given it a power boost with the introduction of a new limited edition GT variant.
Powered by a reworked version of the 5.2-litre V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo and R8 V10, the new R8 GT is endowed with 412 kW of power and 540 Nm of torque. Coupled with the reduced vehicle weight of roughly 100 kilograms courtesy of carbon fibre bits, lightweight carpeting, lightweight bucket seats, the R8 GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h.
The stunning looks of the production model has been carried over to the GT which also now boasts a single-frame grille, matt titanium grey struts and slats in the air intakes, a splitter under the bumper with a double lip and is made of carbon. The distinctive sideblades are now also made of matte carbon fibre.
The same material is used for the reduced-size housing of the side mirrors, which are mounted on a stunning aluminum base - exquisite attention to detail. The 19-inch wheels feature an exclusive five twin-spoke Y design in a titanium-look finish while the front fenders sport the obligatory "GT" badges.
A fixed carbon fibre rear wing sits on the back of the car as does a larger diffuser made also from the same material. The LED tail lights have dark housings with panes of clear glass.
The Audi R8 GT is available in a choice of four body colours: Samoa Orange metallic, Suzuka Gray metallic, Ice Silver metallic and Phantom Black pearl effect.
The exclusive series is limited to 333 units with each R8 GT featuring a badge with its production number on the shift lever knob.
