October 22nd 2007 07:30
Holden previewed the great looking Commodore Sportwagon concept at the Australian International Motor Show.
Taking centre stage at the Holden stand, the Sportwagon combines practicality, style and functionality in the one package.
This exciting addition to the VE range features a 6.0-litre Generation 4 Alloy V8 engine which combines the technology of Active Fuel Management, and E85 flex fuel coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Seating five adults in comfort, the Sportwagon features a higher cargo floor for easy loading into the cargo area, flexible cargo cover for security and an innovative opening tailgate.
Performance-wise, the multi-link Linear Control Suspension (LCS) system is the most advanced suspension design ever under a Holden.
Holden have confirmed the VE Commodore Sportwagon will enter production and will go on sale in the second quarter of 2008.
