Ultra rare Bugatti Veyron Pegaso edition spotted in Dubai

These images of the ultra rare Bugatti Veyron "Pegaso" edition have caused quite a stir on the web recently when a motoring enthusiast spotted this rare exotic parked in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

The rumoured owner of this ultimate supercar is a "Russian guy" residing in Dubai.

He obviously just left it there in a rush so he could stock up on Rolex watches and other 'bling' accessories from the ultimate leisure, entertainment and shopping resort that is Mall of the Emirates - the largest shopping centre outside of North America at 223,000 square metres.

Looking at this car and the number plate it bears.. I would say the car is not from Dubai but from another Emirate i.e Fujairah (as it is written in Arabic) and the Russian guy maybe the driver and not the ower of the vehicle.
The car should be owned by the Royal family of Fujairah (the distict VIP number 1) and mabye they did come to check out the mall in Dubai.>!!

Oh right!

Obviously, I had just posted the rumours circulating around the WWW - I don't think anyone knows for a fact whether the owner was indeed Russian or not.

Thanks for clearing that up for us, Rinu - it makes a lot of sense. I don't expect anyone but royalty or of huge importance to own such an exclusive number plate.

The VIP number plates with single or double digits are exclusively for the royals and locals here..!!

well, i agree with the fact tht such numbers are only given to the royal family.... but don't forget, this guy is very very very rich (infinite very)...
he recently bought the chelsea football club.... so u make round it off as though how rich he is.... besides, he also owns the largest oil company in RUSSIA (his home country)... i don't remember the guy's name... but it is similar to MIVEKECH.....
and aparently, this guy lives in the only 7-star hotek in the world, the BURJ-Al-ARAB, in dubai.....
lucky guy.... !

The owner of this car is not Russian. He is a Ukrainian entrepreneur residing in Burj Al Arab and believed to be a close friend of Sheikh of Dubai.

This Ukrainian guy has the biggest autopark in Burj Al Arab, 12 cars. He and Sheikh of Dubai are the only ones in Dubai who possess Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren special eddition.

I have lived in Dubai my whole life, and it is fairly obvious that anyone with enough money can get this numberplate... The letter C on the left of the plate means that it is the C series of plates- so there is also A then B number 1 plates, and maybe more now. the royal family does not have the letters- simply Dubai/ A.D. 1. i know this seeing as my father works closely with sheikh mohammed, and i have been in the car with the number plate Dubai 1..
