Geely CE concept
April 1st 2008 23:30
Not content with just one concept vehicle (see the GT concept here) to grace the floor of the Beijing Motor Show in April, Chinese car maker Geely is also set to unveil the CE hatchback concept at the show.
While Chinese car makers have the unenviable reputation of 'copy-cats' in the automotive industry, Geely appears hell-bent on overturning this predicament with a svelte and alluring hatchback that would give its European counterparts a run for their money.
Looking good to go in concept form, the conversion to production ready should not be a problem - neither does its ability to sell in decent numbers provided that it meets stringent European crash and safety standards and production quality control is kept at a satisfactory standard.
More will be revealed - including technical specifications and details - after its launch in Beijing next month.
