Chrysler builds 25,000th Dodge Viper
March 12th 2008 04:45
For well over a decade, Chrysler has been thrilling car enthusiasts with the Dodge Viper muscle car which debuted in 1992 with a 8.0-litre V10 engine.
Some sixteen years later - the fourth generation Dodge Viper SRT-10 packs almost an extra half a litre in engine capacity to 8.4-litres (V10) and 447 kW of American muscle - Chrysler is celebrating a hefty milestone with the 25,000th Dodge Viper produced at the company's Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, USA.
This special 25,000th commemorative model will be awarded to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kurt Busch for recognition of his racing accomplishments as the top Dodge driver in 2007 while an appropriately big bash will be held at the same plant in honour of this milestone.
Congrats!
