AIMS: Ferrari F430 coupe and convertible
November 6th 2007 07:00
A pair of scarlet red Ferrari F430 coupe and spider (convertible) were present at the Australian International Motor Show and they were arguably the main attention grabbers at the Ferrari stand.
Released in late 2004 as a 2005 model successor to the F360 Modena, the F430 features a 4.3-litre V8 petrol engine packing 360kW at a stratospheric 8,500rpm and 465Nm of torque at 5,250rpm.
Sporting a curvaceous body that greatly aids aerodynamics (the car develops about 300kg's of down-force at top speed), this sexy Ferrari looks just as great standing still in a showroom as it does on the road with its tremendous presence.
A shame the Ferrari F430 Scuderia was a no show though.
