Ferrari sets new Guinness World Record!
June 12th 2007 04:55
Ferrari set a new world record for the Largest Parade of Ferrari cars over the weekend (June 9) when 385 of the famous scarlet red automobiles lined up at the Silverstone race-track in the UK.
In order for the record to be registered with Guinness, all 385 cars had to be driven a distance of at least two miles with each car being no farther than two car lengths apart - a feat that was managed via detailed planning, logistics and the participation of many UK Ferrari owners.
On show were some very rare Ferraris including the 250 California Spyder, 250GTO, F40s, F50s, Enzos and even the ultra-rare FXX - amounting to a combined worth of over AU$125 million (!) on the race-track at the same time!

No full throttle allowed, that's for sure!
But then again, just hearing every single one of those Ferraris being fired up and idling would've be damn impressive.

Just seeing all those F40s would've done it for me.
