Video: Batmobile vs. Toyota TF108 F1-car

Toyota F1 vs Batmobile


Courtesy of a partnership between Panasonic Toyota Racing and Warner Bros. Pictures, we reported last week that the Toyota F1 team would promote the new Batman: The Dark Knight blockbuster at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone over the July 4-6 weekend including a 'race' between a Toyota TF108 F1 race car and the iconic Batmobile.





We have attached the video clip of the Batmobile and Toyota TF108 out on Silverstone and it is interesting to say the least - the stuff of dreams really. The only disappointment? The super-cool Batpod didn't get a run around Silverstone.

Video: Top Gear Australia's hilarious anti-ad

"Speeding. No one thinks big of you - a message from the RTA."

The RTA's against youth speeding campaign spawned the released of a commercial that attacked young male's egos with bystanders curling their pinky fingers at hoon-ish behaviour which includes speeding and reckless driving on our roads.



We're not sure how successful the ad has been but it's had its fair share of controversy and it still gets a few laughs and 'pfft-s' when shown at the cinemas so the marketing gurus for Top Gear Australia have filmed an anti-ad for the local launch of the Top Gear Australia magazine with the 'pinky' being the focus yet again.

Both funny and cheeky, we're hoping this impressive form from the TG team carries over onto the TV show which starts airing later this year.
