Here is the latest promotional video for the new 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG roadster.
The SL 63 AMG is a brand new model and replaces the SL 55 AMG from the pre-facelift range. Power is now derived from a 6.2-litre V8 engine built in-house by AMG and boasts a top output of 386 kW (525 hp) and a maximum torque of 630 Nm. Also new is the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed sports transmission - Mercedes' version of the twin-clutch transmission - which promises lightning fast gear changes. This combines for breathtaking performance - 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h.
A special limited edition of the SL 63 AMG roadster is also available. The SL 63 AMG Edition IWC is limited to just 200 units worldwide and is finished in exclusive Kashmir white plus various other exclusive bits and pieces.
