Honda Introduces HSV-010 GT For Competing In GT500 Class Of SUPER GT Series
January 19th 2010 18:00
Honda Racing has revealed a batch of images and technical details for the HSV-010 GT Super GT race car.
Based on the aborted new-generation NSX supercar, the GT500 racer is powered by a 370 kW, 3.4-litre V8 engine rather than the V10 destined for the flagship, road-going supercar. As with any proper race car, the power-to-weight ratio is where the money's at and tipping the scales at just 1,100 kg or more, the HSV-010 GT (HSV for Honda Sports Velocity) is sure to be one hell of a drive.
