Holden Special Vehicles has announced a new addition to the luxury and performance garage with confirmation that a HSV 'Tourer' or station-wagon, will be launched later this year.
The HSV Tourer will be on sale from October, with specifications similar to the ClubSport R8 which means it will sport the new US-sourced 6.2-litre V8 - codenamed LS3 - developing 317 kW of power.
Price and final specifications will be confirmed closer to start of sale but price rises of between 1.3 and 2.8 per cent across the HSV range has also been announced. $61,550 will get you entry into the HSV range with the Maloo R8 while the flagship HSV Grange is the most expensive at $84,690.
HSV has only released one image of the upcoming tourer and sadly, the rear design remains a mystery - for now. More will be unveiled in due course and so remember to check back on ZCars for the latest updates.
