EDO competition tuned Ferrari Enzo
May 28th 2008 06:15
It's difficult to comprehend how the Ferrari Enzo, one of the highest performance cars in the world, would require any further tuning for extra performance but famous Ferrari and Porsche tuner edo Competition have done just that.
Changes have been made to the powertrain in the form of new exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converter, performance muffler, modified intake with ram-air system, high-flow air filters and ECU recalibration. The tweaked Enzo now boasts 514 kW at 8200 rpm and 715 Nm of torque at 5800 rpm.
All that power is harnessed onto the road through a new sport suspension with adjustable compression and rebound damping. The useful nose lift functionality is retained should you wish to take the edo-tuned Ferrari out for shopping at your local Westfields.
Aerodynamic and cosmetic tweaks include a subtle bodykit, new 19-inch (20'' at the rear) wheels, and smoked taillights. What we love the most is how the sound level on the stainless steel exhausts with adjustable remote-controlled butterfly-valve can be adjusted at the push of a button!
The edo competition Ferrari Enzo can sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of more than 370 km/h.
