Nissan GT-R SpecV


Yesterday, we were left feeling more than just a little short changed with the official unveiling of the much-hyped Nissan GT-R SpecV (formerly known as 'V-Spec'). Too many questions were left unanswered in the press release and the lack of any substantive power upgrades must've left many a Godzilla fan tossing and turning in bed overnight.

Still, no one is doubting the performance credentials of the new SpecV. We just weren't blown away - yet (until a jaw-dropping Nurburgring lap time is posted - finger's crossed). Until that happens, let this following video showing the SpecV running at full tilt complete with glowing rotors be a little taste of things to come for the Japanese supercar.

Kazunori Yamauchi drives Nissan GT-R


In this latest video of the Nissan GT-R, Kazunori Yamauchi of Gran Turismo fame pilots the most talked about high-performance car around a damp Nurburgring and hitting a top speed of 311 km/h in the process.




The legendary creator of the Gran Turismo series video game is also a huge car enthusiast, as you'd expect, and does very well handling the demanding racetrack for a non-professional driver - no doubt the countless hours designing and playing the GT series paid dividends.
