February 28th 2008 10:30
Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has created two limited edition versions of its supercar - the CCX Edition model with a 653 kW (888 hp) 4.8-litre twin supercharged V8 engine limited to 14 cars and a CCXR (Bio flexi fuel) Edition model limited to 6 cars with a staggering 749 kW (1018 hp) - the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Equipped with stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis, the limited edition models are noticeably more track biased compared to the 'standard' models. Minor body changes include an unpainted carbon-fibre body, an adjustable rear wing and a larger front splitter plus unique forged alloys.
Inside, the cars get new leather trim including matching hide for the floor mats, ‘Edition’ side sills and a chronograph instrument cluster. Standard features include a rear-view camera, sat-nav and Bluetooth, and a light weight Inconell exhaust system.
