Feast your eyes over the Agrera R, the latest creation from the Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg. Unveiled recently at the Geneva Motor Show, the full technical specifications for this beast has been kept under wraps until now.

Power from the 5.0-litre V8 engine is a mind-boggling 832 kW and torque is over 1200 Nm. Needless to say, performance is exhilarating to say the very least - 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.5 sec and 0-200-0 km/h in just 12.7 sec!!!

Koenigsegg CCXR Limited Edition


Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has created two limited edition versions of its supercar - the CCX Edition model with a 653 kW (888 hp) 4.8-litre twin supercharged V8 engine limited to 14 cars and a CCXR (Bio flexi fuel) Edition model limited to 6 cars with a staggering 749 kW (1018 hp) - the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Equipped with stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis, the limited edition models are noticeably more track biased compared to the 'standard' models. Minor body changes include an unpainted carbon-fibre body, an adjustable rear wing and a larger front splitter plus unique forged alloys.

Inside, the cars get new leather trim including matching hide for the floor mats, ‘Edition’ side sills and a chronograph instrument cluster. Standard features include a rear-view camera, sat-nav and Bluetooth, and a light weight Inconell exhaust system.

No doubt many would still regard a Ferrari F430 or a Lamborghini Gallardo as an 'exotic', a 'supercar'...and only a lucky few will ever have one of these in their driveway.
