The Exotics(Part 3): MERCEDES-BENZ SLR McLAREN
What is there NOT to like about this car? Well, besides the fact that only a lucky few could afford it, pretty much everything else is likeable.
I've always liked my Mercs - from the classics such as the 1950's 300SL 'Gull-wing' to the current cars, namely, SL-class, CLS-class etc.
While the SL is a gorgeous looking car with supercar performance to match in SL55/65 guise, it's probably not as exotic as say, a Lamborghini Murcielago.
Enter the SLR.
The SLR is the product of a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and its Formula 1 partner McLaren and their aim was to create a super sports GT (Gran Turismo) car. And they have succeeded in creating an absolute masterpiece that is stunning to look at with the performance credentials to back it up.
