Nissan 'Forum' Concept
December 19th 2007 09:30
Japanese car manufacturer Nissan is scheduled to debut the FORUM Concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2008.
The advanced minivan design study features "an advanced Bose Media System with proximity sensor-based information controller, a one-button audio muting system, 2nd and 3rd row monitoring cameras, and individual seat-mounted speakers for every row."
The funky concept, which Nissan aims to provide an insight to the future of minivans, features an interior with trackless sliding doors and no B-pillars - aiding in entry and exit - and an entire second row bench that swivels at either 90 or 180 degrees.
Nissan’s Around View Monitor (AVM) system will feature in the Forum which lets the driver watch the rear cabin area with headliner-mounted cameras and a main instrument panel display.
