Korean car maker Hyundai unveiled their first foray into the rear-wheel drive sports car segment in New York overnight with the stylish Genesis coupe.

The coupe, which is likely to be made available in Australia, features two engines choices - a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder variant (est. 156 kW) and 3.8-litre V6 variant (est. 225 kW) - for a sub 6-second sprint from 0-100 km/h for the range topping V6 model.

Our friends over at Carscoop has captured what is one of the world's most exclusive and posh coupés on video at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.

The 2009 Rolls-Royce Phantom coupé is scheduled to start production at Goodwood, England in June 2008 and will become the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom and Rolls-Royce line-up.



At the heart of the Phantom coupé is a 6.75-litre V12 engine developing 338 kW (460 hp) of power and 720 Nm (531lb-ft) of torque. Offering brisk performance, the driver and occupants will be surrounded by one of the finest and most luxurious interiors around. Watch the video to see the full-length starlight headlining, which incorporates hundreds of tiny fibre optics to give the impression of a star-filled night sky, in action!
