Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe sold out for 2008
March 11th 2008 10:30
Business is good for ultra luxury marque Rolls Royce with a 25% increase in global production in 2007 and news that the car maker's entire 2008 allocation of their all-new Phantom Coupe has already been spoken for.
At the car's worldwide debut at the Geneva Motor Show last week, the British car maker's CEO Ian Robertson revealed that they have sold 200 Phantom Coupes, representing the entire planned production run for 2008.
The Phantom Coupe's 'sportier' nature has drawn a new crowd to the Rolls Royce name plate with roughly two-thirds of orders coming from first-time buyers. Given the car's craftsmanship, top-grade materials and top-end engineering in a sensual coupe body, we're not surprised that it has been sold out despite its hefty price tag.
