2009 Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift
March 28th 2008 04:05
Mercedes-Benz has given the current generation A-class a mid-life makeover after four years on the market with a series of upgrades including a new front bumper, grille, redesigned headlights, a new rear bumper and taillights.
Interior-wise, the ergonomics remains much the same as the pre-facelift model although prospective buyers will now grip a new steering wheel plus the choice of a wider range of upholstery for the seats and an aluminium trim for the dash.
The choice of engines remains the same but a series of tweaks have resulted in improved fuel economy - up to 7 percent less consumption - for the four-cylinder engines.
The new facelifted A-class will arrive in Australia in the second half of 2008 as a 2009 model.
