Video: Nissan 370Z at private gathering

Following Nissan’s release of three official images and the confirmation of some tech specs on the LA Auto Show website, some much anticipated video footage of the new 370Z has made its way onto Street Fire. Captured while at a private Z gathering in the US, the footage shows the likes of the 240Z, 350Z and even some GT-Rs for good measure.

The star of the show, however, was the 370Z and it didn't disappoint in blue and red liveries. While the jury is still out on those wraparound 'boomerang' style head- and taillights, the smaller but wider looking body with flared guards looks sensational.

The 2009 Nissan 370Z will be officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17.

Video: Corvette ZR1 7min 26 'Ring run

Late last month, Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge J. Juechter revealed that a bone-stock Corvette ZR1 supercar driven by a development engineer had lapped the Nurburgring Nordschliefe in an astonishing 7:26.4.

This earth-shattering time betters the Nissan GT-R's much-vaunted best time of 7 minutes and 29 seconds by some three seconds and has given General Motors the bragging rights in the supercar world for the time being.

An in-car video was promised for the week of July 7 and true to his word, the clip has now made its way online so click on the video clip to watch the ZR1's super quick run around the 'Ring.
