The second generation of Honda's popular Jazz (Fit) hatchback is set to go on sale in Australia later this year and will feature a new 1.5-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine connected to either a 5-speed manual transmission or 5-speed automatic transmission, which includes steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters in the top-of-the-range model.
The Honda Jazz is well known for its roomy interior in a compact shape and frugal fuel economy in both 1.3-litre and 1.5-litre guise and should be as popular as ever under the current climate of ever escalating petrol costs.
After its recent US launch at the New York Auto Show, a video of the second generation US-spec Jazz has made its way onto the internet and it showcases the new Jazz's evolutionary styling. We have also included a promotional clip of the Japan-spec Fit (as it is known in its homeland) that highlights its versatility including shots of the car in motion.
