Korean car maker Hyundai unveiled their first foray into the rear-wheel drive sports car segment in New York overnight with the stylish Genesis coupe.

The coupe, which is likely to be made available in Australia, features two engines choices - a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder variant (est. 156 kW) and 3.8-litre V6 variant (est. 225 kW) - for a sub 6-second sprint from 0-100 km/h for the range topping V6 model.
