Mitsubishi Lancer Prototype-S in motion

A video clip showing the Mitsubishi Lancer Prototype-S Concept (Lancer Sportback RalliArt) in motion has found its way onto the internet ahead of its worldwide debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Equipped with a 2.0-litre MIVEC 4-cylinder DOHC intercooled turbocharged engine developing 177 kW (240 PS) mated to a Twin Clutch SST transmission and full-time four-wheel-drive with Active Center Differential (ACD), the Lancer Sportback RalliArt will go head on with the Subaru Impreza WRX when it goes on sale later this year.

We have seen the official images and press release (click here) already now feast your eyes on the sporty hatchback in motion for the first time!

Old vs. New: Subaru WRX STi and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The following video clip from cult Japanese car DVD magazine, Best Motoring International, is pure automotive pornography for fans of the Subaru WRX STi and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series.

This latest clip features the new generation WRX STi and Lancer Evolution (X) against their predecessors and the results are quite interesting.

Featuring the legendary drift-king Tsuchiya-san behind the wheel of the new STi and a bunch of ex. and current JGTC drivers behind the wheel of a Lancer Evolution X (5MT), Lancer Evolution X (SST), WRX STi sedan and Lancer Evolution IX GSR, this is one heck of a battle between the Japanese rally kings.
