This cheeky television commercial featuring the all-new BMW M3 convertible pokes fun at the Mercedes-Benz SL roadster by making it plain obvious which one is more of a driver's car.





The first scene shows a man in his Merc-SL roadster driving casually with a gorgeous brunette sitting beside him before they eventually pull over at a romantic spot for a bit of night sky star gazing. Someone then hits the rewind button and the same chap - alone by himself - is now attacking the twisties in a BMW M3 convertible and reaches the same romantic spot before dusk.

Moral of the story TV advert? Impress the ladies in an SL but the real driver's car here is the M3!
